Toronto French School

Toronto French School (TFS) is a prestigious bilingual independent school in Toronto, offering education from preschool to Grade 12. Founded in 1962, TFS combines French and Canadian curricula to prepare students for global success, with a strong focus on bilingualism, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. 

KDA was engaged by Toronto French School (TFS) to develop a coordinated signage and wayfinding system and integrated donor recognition programs across its Toronto and Mississauga campuses.

The signage and wayfinding program delivers clear, accessible navigation for students, faculty, parents, and visitors while unifying both campuses with a cohesive design language that reflects TFS’s academic excellence and international identity. Designed to accommodate each campus’s distinct timelines and requirements, the system employs a flexible, modular approach so signage remains consistent where it should and adaptable where site conditions demand. 

In parallel, KDA developed integrated donor recognition programs that celebrate generosity, accommodate future growth, and sit comfortably within the schools’ architectural and educational environments. Working closely with TFS stakeholders, from Donor Foundations to Marketing and Design teams, KDA ensured all recognition elements were strategically planned, sensitive to donors and the school’s culture, and creatively designed to provide a timeless, inspiring presence.
