Scotiabank Arena
Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), Toronto
Located in downtown Toronto, Scotiabank Arena, formerly Air Canada Centre, is a multi-purpose arena positioned at the foot of Maple Leaf Square, a multi-use complex and public square.
KDA developed a transformative signage program to rebrand the facility to Scotiabank Arena, enhance the overall fan experience and ultimately achieve a sense of heightened kinetic immersion for all those gathered in the Square.
The program also operates as a true digital signage network enabling MLSE’s Sponsorship and Marketing Teams to sell brand domination packages, promote upcoming concerts, events and daily activities, and live-stream their amazing Jurassic Park tailgate parties.
Since 2004, KDA has actively consulted with MLSE on our entertainment properties. They continue to provide forward thinking design solutions that reinforce the ‘best-of-class’ approach that has made MLSE a sports and entertainment leader. KDA are true ‘out-of-the-box’ creative thinkers.
The Fan Experience
The cornerstone of the program features epic-sized digital displays that present real-time events and games to more than 10,000 fans that gather to celebrate in the Square.
animating the brand
Several unique and innovative concepts were created by KDA including the use of high-resolution LEDs that animate and transform the Scotiabank Arena logo in response to an event – dramatically changing to Toronto Raptors’ red or Toronto Maple Leafs’ blue.
