Paramount Fine Foods Centre is a multi-purpose sports and entertainment complex in Mississauga, accommodating a wide range of year-round activities and events. The facility includes a full-size FIFA indoor artificial soccer field, a gymnastics centre, triple gymnasium, fitness centre, hockey arena, and basketball facilities for Raptors 905, along with a variety of meeting and community spaces.
KDA developed a comprehensive, custom signage and wayfinding program for both the interior and exterior of the complex, creating a clear and cohesive navigation system that supports high visitor volumes, multiple user groups, and diverse destinations. The program integrates sponsor and municipal branding while establishing a timeless, contemporary family of sign types that enhances orientation, improves legibility, and reinforces the identity of the facility.
Integrated Identity, Naming & Messaging Strategy
The wayfinding program unified City of Mississauga branding with the new naming sponsor through a clear and consistent messaging hierarchy. Building and parking areas were assigned alpha designations, while gates were identified using numeric systems to simplify orientation and recall. Anchor destinations were introduced to support intuitive navigation to major program elements, and naming conventions were refined to be succinct and highly legible, reinforcing both brand presence and ease of recognition across the site.

A cohesive family of contemporary signs was designed for interior and exterior use, ensuring long-term relevance and performance in high-traffic conditions. Outdoor LED displays were consolidated into a single, high-impact feature, complemented by an interior digital network. Wayfinding elements were strategically placed at point-of-choice locations for pedestrians and vehicles, with legibility and visual contrast optimized for readability. Custom iconography and cartography provided consistent, accessible navigation across all destinations within the complex.
