In tandem with the revitalization of the hotel, KDA created a timeless, contemporary and elegant signage program that complemented the new material palette and luxury finishes used throughout. Featuring polished brass, bronze and glass accents, the signage program fittingly pays tribute to this grand hotel.

Branded Digital Displays
KDA implemented a series of branded digital displays across the hotel, both to convey daily events and activities and to facilitate the management of the hotel’s numerous yearly meetings and conferences.
Iconic Icons
To complement the new interiors of the Royal Hotel, KDA designed bespoke iconography in a decidedly art-deco fashion, adding a touch of timeless sophistication that harmoniously blends with the hotel’s historic charm and modern elegance.
The Royal York hotel has been featured in various films, television shows, and literature, further cementing its status as an iconic symbol of Toronto’s hospitality and grandeur.
